LEWIS CHESS SERIES
Pieces from the famous 12th century chess set from the Isle of Lewis, Scotland, reduced to their basic geometry.
These pieces were originally created for "Reflections of the Conquest", a show of contemporary artwork inspired by the European world at the time of the Battle of Hastings. The show was mounted at the Woodstock Museum in Woodstock, Ontario in 2002.
